It’s an interesting thing, that the majority of my work and the vast majority of events that I am part of, are sports related. This isn’t generally on purpose! But it’s these worlds and events that I have gotten most sucked into, to the extent of working with the biggest teams on the global stage with the likes of McLaren, Mercedes AMG F1, England Rugby, Team Sky, Chelsea FC, Epsom Derby. Fundamentally this is just from creating artwork around my passions in life, such as live painting with Team Sky under the awning of the team bus in a monsoon, on the Tour of Britain – one of the highlights of my life! But it’s somehow progressed further than that into realms that I don’t have a background in. I mean... the first time I met Chris Robshaw, I asked him if he played rugby, when he was England captain at the time! It’s fair to say that I know a little more about rugby now and follow more closely, after almost a decade working at the biggest annual events, meeting every living RWC winning captain when launching the 2015 RWC at the London Stock Exchange, and Chris is now even a friend. Trust the plot twists of life...
